CARL GRANDERSON 2024 SEASON ANALYSIS:
New Orleans Saints defensive end Carl Granderson completed his sixth season in the NFL and with the Saints. The Saints defender started all 17 contests and finished tied for second on the team with 5.5 sacks. Granderson ended the campaign with 61 tackles (35 solo) including nine tackles for loss. He also added four passes defensed and a forced fumble.
Granderson tallied 32 pressures this season, the second highest total on the team and passing his career high of 28 set in 2023. He also proved impactful in the run game having the fifth highest rush stop win rate among edge defenders in the NFL according to ESPN.
BEST GAME OF CARL GRANDERSON'S 2024 SEASON:
Granderson had his best outing in Week 3 against the Philadelphia Eagles. The defensive end tallied five tackles (four solo). He accrued two tackles for loss which included 1.5 sacks, one of which was a strip sack on Jalen Hurts that linebacker Willie Gay Jr. would recover. He added one pass defensed and finished the day with five total pressures.
