A pair of former New Orleans Saints fullbacks are set to appear at the Saints Hall of Fame Museum this Sunday, Nov. 5.

Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee Jim Taylor and Jack Holmes will be at the museum from 10 a.m.-11:15 a.m., prior to the Saints home game with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at noon.

A native of Baton Rouge, Taylor played in the inaugural season in New Orleans in 1967 after a storied career in Green Bay. He rushed for 390 yards and two touchdowns and caught 38 passes for 251 yards for the Saints in his lone season in New Orleans. In Green Bay, Taylor led the NFL in rushing in 1962 and played on three NFL championship teams. He led the NFL in rushing touchdowns in both 1961 and 1962 and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1976. Taylor starred at Baton Rouge High and at LSU.

Holmes played five seasons for the Saints from 1978-1982, appearing in 64 games. Holmes scored four touchdowns rushing and caught a touchdown pass while serving as an excellent lead blocker for Chuck Muncie, Mike Strachan and George Rogers.

Holmes will be available for autographs and pictures while Taylor will be available for pictures but unable to sign autographs.

The Saints Hall of Fame Museum is located at Gate B on the Plaza level of the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. The museum is open for two hours prior to each New Orleans Saints home game and for 45 minutes following each home game. The museum is free of charge on game days to all holding tickets to the game.

The museum is available for viewing by appointment weekdays between 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at a cost of $7 per adult, $5 for seniors, military, children under 12 and groups of 10.
