POSTGAME NOTES
- The New Orleans Saints fell to the Las Vegas Raiders 25-10 on Sunday. With the loss, New Orleans dropped to 5-11 and will close out the 2024 campaign at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, with the date and kickoff time to be announced by the NFL.
- Quarterback Spencer Rattler completed 20 of 35 passes for 218 yards with a 30-yard touchdown pass to tight end Foster Moreau and had two interceptions. Rattler also had a 28-yard carry, tying his career-long. Running for three first downs, he carried three times for 46 yards to lead the team in rushing.
- New Orleans got on the scoreboard at the start of the second quarter on the aforementioned 30-yard pass from Rattler to Moreau. The New Orleans native finished with three receptions for 47 yards with the touchdown. With five touchdown grabs on the season, Moreau has tied his career-high set his rookie year with the Oakland Raiders in 2019 and is now the team's leader in touchdown receptions in 2024.
- Running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire made his Saints debut, finishing with five carries for 20 yards and caught two passes for 10 yards.
- Tight end Juwan Johnson led the Saints in receiving with six receptions for 66 yards. Johnson now has 44 grabs on the season, surpassing his prior career-high set in 2022.
- Wide receiver Dante Pettis returned one punt for 21 yards and caught three passes for 27 yards.
- Linebacker Demario Davis had 13 tackles (six solo), reaching 127 for the season. With 121 stops in 2023, it marks the first time as a Saint for Davis to have 120 stops in back-to-back seasons and the first time since the 2013 and 2014 seasons as a member of the New York Jets. It is the fifth time overall for Davis to have at least 120 stops in his career. He is the first Saint to have at least 120 stops in back-to-back seasons since linebacker Curtis Lofton from 2013-14 and now has 802 tackles as a member of the Black and Gold.
- Linebacker Pete Werner matched Davis for the team lead, tying a career-high with 13 tackles (seven solo).
- Defensive end Cameron Jordan played in his 225th career game, putting him in a tie for 14th all-time among defensive linemen with Carl Eller (Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2004). Jordan totaled three solo tackles, including one sack and two stops for loss.
- Jordan, who has 121.5 career sacks, moved into a tie for 22nd in NFL record books with Clyde Simmons.
- Jordan's sack in the first half to force a field goal on quarterback Aiden O'Connell made him the 49th player for Jordan to have recorded a sack against.
- Safety Tyrann Mathieu also had three solo tackles and one pass defense, while cornerback Kool-Aid McKinstry had three stops (two solo).
- Cornerback Alontae Taylor had two solo tackles and two pass breakups.
- Linebacker Nephi Sewell led the team with two special teams tackles (one solo).
- Punter Matthew Hayball punted seven times for 330 yards (47.1 avg), with three landing inside-the-20 and a season-long 64 yard boot.
- Kicker Blake Grupe made his only field-goal attempt from 34 yards out and his lone PAT.
