  • 2024 – Cooper Dejean:
    DeJean proved to be an immediate contributor for the Philadelphia Eagles helping them to a victory in Super Bowl LIX in the Caesers Superdome. Dejean finished his rookie season playing in 16 games, nine starts and recording 51 tackles (38 solo), six passes defensed, a forced fumble, three fumble recoveries and 21 punt returns for 211 yards. In the playoffs, DeJean started all four games, tallying 18 tackles (12 solo), four passes defensed, a fumble recovery, nine punt returns for 53 yards and his first career interception which he returned 38 yards for a touchdown in the Super Bowl.
  • 2023 – Isaiah Foskey:
    Foskey contributed primarily on special teams after the New Orleans Saints drafted him. In 27 games over his first two seasons, Foskey has recorded 25 tackles and one pass defensed.
  • 2022 – Boye Mafe:
    Mafe played in 48 games over three seasons with the Seattle Seahawks tallying 133 tackles (88 solo), 18.0 sacks, nine passes defensed, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. Mafe also appeared in a playoff contest in 2022 and recorded two tackles.
  • 2021 – Richie Grant:
    Grant played in 67 games, 33 starts, over four seasons with the Atlanta Falcons accumulating 275 tackles (177 solo), three interceptions, 17 passes defensed, four forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and 3.0 sacks.
  • 2020 – Ross Blacklock:
    Blacklock played in 44 games, three starts, over four years for the Houston Texans, Minnesota Vikings, Jacksonville Jaguars and Tennessee Titans. Blacklock tallied 40 tackles (27 solo), 3.0 sacks, two passes defensed and a forced fumble. Blacklock has also spent time with the Indianapolis Colts and New York Giants.
  • 2019 – Trayvon Mullen:
    Mullen played in 46 games, 31 starts, over four seasons with the Las Vegas Raiders, Arizona Cardinals and Dallas Cowboys. He accumulated 150 tackles (128 solo), four interceptions, 29 passes defensed, and one forced fumble. Mullen has also spent time with the Baltimore Ravens.
  • 2018 – Courtland Sutton:
    Named to the Pro Bowl in 2019, Sutton quickly became a reliable target for the Denver Broncos. Over seven seasons, Sutton has played in 98 games, 82 starts and caught 379 passes for 5,340 yards and 32 touchdowns. Sutton has also attempted five carries for 21 yards and completed four passes for 84 yards and a touchdown..
  • 2017 – Curtis Samuel:
    Samuel proved himself to be a versatile weapon in the NFL having tallied 348 receptions for 3,636 yards and 23 touchdowns as well as attempting 126 carries for 729 yards and seven touchdowns over 105 games, 60 starts, with the Carolina Panthers, Washington Commanders and Buffalo Bills.
  • 2016 – Sterling Shepard:
    Shepard found a role with the New York Giants, playing eight seasons for New York before departing to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Shepard appeared in 104 games, 79 starts, and tallied 404 receptions for 4,429 yards and 24 touchdowns as well as attempting 32 carries for 255 yards and a touchdown.
  • 2015 – Dorial Green-Beckham:
    Green Beckham played in 31 games, 12 starts, over two seasons with the Tennessee Titans and Philadelphia Eagles and accumulated 68 receptions for 941 yards and six touchdowns.

SAINTS SECOND ROUND SELECTION HISTORY

The Saints used the 40th overall pick six times before in franchise history, selecting wide receiver Lonzell Hill in the 1987 NFL Draft, defensive back Je'Rod Cherry in the 1996 NFL Draft, tight end Cam Cleeland in the 1998 NFL Draft, defensive back Josh Bullocks in the 2005 NFL Draft, defensive back Tracy Porter in the 2008 NFL Draft and defensive end Isaiah Foskey in the 2023 NFL Draft. The Saints used four second-round selections in the last five drafts. With those selections, the Saints selected:
