The New Orleans Saints and Easy Day Sports announced today that the Saints 5K, presented by Hancock Whitney, is officially sold out with a total of 6,000 adult registrants. The annual event will be held on Saturday, Sept. 7, the day before the Saints begin their regular season at home against the Carolina Panthers.
As one of the Gulf South region's premier 5K events, the Saints 5K has become a season kickoff tradition among local and regional runners alike. All proceeds from the Saints 5K will support the Louisiana National Guard Foundation, an organization dedicated to aiding Guard members and their families, particularly in their efforts to respond to natural disasters and support public safety.

The Saints 5K, featuring a 3.1-mile race and a half-mile Kids Fun Run, provides runners an unforgettable experience. Runners will enjoy a scenic route through New Orleans, including a thrilling finish on the 50-yard line of the Caesars Superdome, complete with views on the giant video boards. The event will also feature a post-race celebration in Champions Square, including music, refreshments, and a festive atmosphere provided by Anheuser-Busch, Coca-Cola, Frito-Lay and Rouses Markets.
