The New Orleans Saints (2-6) look to bounce back this week and reverse a six-game losing streak in playing in their last road contest until December 8, when they play the Carolina Panthers (1-7) in a division contest at Bank of America Stadium.
The Saints will be looking to improve their record to 3-6 leading into three straight home games and even up their division record at 2-2, while sweeping the Panthers in consecutive seasons for the first time since the 2019 NFL season.
As New Orleans continues a return to health, the hope is for a return to the complementary style that got the club off to a 2-0 start. Carolina dropped to 1-7 on Sunday, following a 28-14 loss at the Denver Broncos.
This Week In The NFC South: The Atlanta Falcons (5-3), next week's Saints opponent, host the Dallas Cowboys (3-4) on Sunday at noon CT. and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-4) will play at the Kansas City Chiefs (7-0) on Monday Night Football.

The Carolina Panthers initially entered the National Football League as an expansion franchise in 1995 and since then, the Saints lead the regular season series 31-28, with New Orleans also picking up the home 2017 NFC Wild Card showdown. The clubs were in the NFC West together from 1995-2001 and the rivalry has continued since it was formed
in 2002 divisional realignment. The Saints have a 15-14 edge at contests played on the road road. Of the 59 regular season games in the series, 29 have been decided by eight points or less, with the Saints winning 15 of them.

Saints 47, Carolina Panthers 10; Sept. 8, 2024 @ Mercedes-Benz Superdome – The New Orleans Saints rolled to a rollicking 47-10 season-opening victory over the Carolina Panthers on Sunday at the Caesars Superdome, the team's sixth consecutive opening victory, the best active streak in the NFL. Star running back Alvin Kamara carried 15 times for 83 yards with one touchdown while Taysom Hill added 35 yards rushing. Quarterback Derek Carr was sharp, going 19 of 23 for 200 yards and three touchdowns.
It was Kamara's 50th game with at least 100 yards from scrimmage. Starting cornerback Marshon Lattimore left with a hamstring injury and starting left guard Lucas Patrick left with a toe injury, Tight end Foster Moreau left to be evaluated for a concussion. FULL GAME RECAP
