A Lawrence, Kansas native, Devin Neal carved out an incredible career with the Jayhawks, becoming the program's all-time leading rusher and the first to post three consecutive 1,000-yard seasons. A senior captain in 2024, Neal earned Honorable Mention All-Big 12 honors and was a semifinalist for the Jason Witten Collegiate Man of the Year Award. Neal finished with 4,343 career rushing yards and 53 total touchdowns. His explosive senior season was highlighted by a 207-yard performance against Colorado and an impressive East-West Shrine Bowl appearance, being recognized with multiple national Player of the Week awards during his final college season.

NFL.com overview on Devin Neal: Workload runner with NFL size and four years of steady production to help elevate the program. Neal runs with a nice blend of patience and decisiveness to choose the right lanes and maximize each carry. He lacks top-end burst and speed, which will shrink the field for him, but he's a fall-forward runner with good contact balance and a nose for short-yardage conversions. He has good instincts and soft hands in space and can help as a leak-out or swing-pass option. His blue-collar approach isn't exciting but it is effective and Neal has the ability to develop into a backup three-down back.
