New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees on Sunday surpassed 70,000 passing yards for his career, making him the third quarterback in NFL history to do so behind Peyton Manning and Brett Favre.
Brees entered Sunday's game vs. the Atlanta Falcons needing 39 yards to make the 70,000-yard club a trio and accomplished that in the first quarter at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
Manning tops the list with 71,940 yards and Favre has 71,838 yards.
