Atlanta - New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees on Sunday achieved his fifth 5,000-yard passing season, the most in NFL history.
Brees entered the season finale vs. the Falcons needing 142 yards to hit 5,000 yards for the first time since 2013 when he passed for 5,162 yards. Brees' other 5,000-yard seasons were 2012 (5,177), 2011 (5,476) and 2008 (5,069).
Brees reached the milestone in the third quarter on a 20-yard completion to Willie Snead IV.
