New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees has been named the NFC Offensive Player of the Month for November, the NFL announced Thursday, Nov. 29.
Brees, in his 18th season, led the Saints to a 4-0 record in November (with Thursday's game at the Dallas Cowboys still to be played). The Saints (10-1) defeated the previously undefeated Los Angeles Rams 45-35, the Cincinnati Bengals 51-14, the Philadelphia Eagles 48-7 and the Atlanta Falcons 31-17.
Brees has thrown for 1,145 yards and 15 touchdowns with just one interception for the month. The 39-year-old is leading all players in fan voting for the 2019 Pro Bowl and he is on the cover of this week's Sports Illustrated, For the season Brees is 272 of 356 for 3,135 yards with 29 touchdowns and just two interceptions.
