The 11 consecutive seasons with 4,000 yards passing is an NFL record. Peyton Manning owns the career mark with 14 seasons of at least 4,000 yards passing.
Brees entered Sunday's game needing 87 yards to reach 4,000. He hit the milestone late in the second quarter on a pass to Brandon Coleman.
