Pro Football Focus released its 2019 NFL All-Pro teams on Tuesday, Dec. 31, and five New Orleans Saints appeared on the First-Team.
Saints wideout Michael Thomas, offensive tackle Ryan Ramczyk, linebacker Demario Davis, and undrafted special teamers Deonte Harty and J.T. Gray highlight the list.
A receiver breaking the all-time single-season reception record speaks for itself. Thomas concluded the 2019 regular season campaign with 149 receptions, 33 more than any other player this season.
Ramczyk and Davis, both Pro Bowl snubs, gained recognition on this list.
Ramczyk shut down a sequence of top-level pass-rushers, including completely blanking of J.J. Watt from recording any pressure when they met early in the season. He didn't surrender a sack all season. Meanwhile, Davis set or matched career-best marks for total pressures (28), pass breakups (8), passer rating allowed (87.9) and yards per reception allowed (6.2) in 2019.
Harris had a breakout year at a position the Saints wanted to address last offseason. Harris led the NFL in punt return yards and combined return yards in 2019 on his way to earning a spot in the Pro Bowl.
Gray tied for first with 16 total special teams tackles.
Saints safety Marcus Williams landed on PFF's Second-Team All-Pro list.
Pro Football Focus assembled this team using the data gleaned from watching and analyzing every player on every play of the NFL season.
