The New Orleans Saints used two Drew Brees touchdown passes to take a 17-10 halftime lead over the Oakland Raiders on Sunday at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
Brees connected with Willie Snead for a 1-yard touchdown pass in the first quarter and with Brandin Cooks for a 15-yard touchdown pass in the second quarter. Rookie Wil Lutz added a 42-yard field goal, the first of his NFL career.
Tha Raiders scored on a 47-yard Sebastian Janikowski field goal and a 6-yard touchdown run by Latavius Murray.
