To mark its 11th consecutive annual partnership with the New Orleans Saints, the Louisiana Lottery launched two scratch-offs earlier in the season, featuring the team's logos, instant-win cash prizes and second-chance drawings for game-day experiences and autographed merchandise.
Nonwinning tickets from the $5 game We Are The Saints and the $2 game New Orleans Saints can be entered in any $10 combination into a series of three second-chance drawings, the deadline for the first of which is Sept. 30.
Participants in the first second-chance drawing are eligible to win one of three 2019 Saints Suite Access Prize Packages to the Nov. 10 game against Atlanta, including four tickets to the exclusive Louisiana Lottery 300 level suite, which includes a visit by a former Saints player.
One lucky name will also be drawn to win the 2019 Saints Tunnel Team Prize Package for the winner and three friends to attend the Nov. 10 game, including four Plaza Club Sideline tickets, four entertainment passes allowing the winner and guests pregame field access, one parking pass, one-night hotel accommodations (two rooms) and $500 spending cash.
Twelve winners will also be randomly selected to receive an official autographed Saints jersey, football or helmet.
To enter the second-chance drawings, players should complete the information on the back of $10 worth of nonwinning $2 New Orleans Saints and/or $5 We Are The Saints scratch-off tickets and mail them together in an envelope (no larger than 4.5" by 9.5") to Louisiana Lottery Saints 2nd Chance Drawing, P.O. Box 675, Port Allen, LA 70767. Entries must contain at least $10 worth of nonwinning tickets from either game to be eligible. Players can enter as many times as they wish, but each complete entry should be mailed in a separate envelope.
Entries received from Oct. 1 through Oct. 28 will be entered into the next second-chance drawing for one of five 2019 Saints Suite Access Prize Packages to the Dec. 8 game versus San Francisco, including four tickets to the Louisiana Lottery 400 level suite with a visit from a Saints alumni.
Also during the second drawing, one winner will be selected to receive a 2019 Saints Deluxe Prize Package, including four Plaza Club Sideline tickets, four pregame field passes to the Dec. 8 game, one-night hotel accommodations (two rooms), limo transportation to and from the game accompanied by a former Saints player, four authentic Saints jerseys and $500 spending cash.
Fifteen winners will also be randomly selected to receive an official autographed Saints jersey, football or helmet.
Entries received from Oct. 29 until the to-be-announced deadline will be entered into the third second-chance drawing for one Saints 2020 Season Prize Package, including four Plaza Sideline tickets for the 2020 football season, four pregame field passes for every home game, a 2020 parking pass and a VIP tour of the Saints practice facility. The winner and three guests will receive round-trip limo service to the facility in Metairie (or overnight accommodations if the distance exceeds 75 miles) where they will also view a team practice and have lunch in the team cafeteria.
The Lottery printed 1.8 million $2 New Orleans Saints tickets, and approximate overall odds of winning an instant prize on the game are 1 in 4.45. There were 1.32 million $5 We Are The Saints tickets printed with approximate overall odds of winning a prize at 1 in 3.88.
