With 29 rushing yards in the Week 15 game against the New York Jets, New Orleans Saints running back Mark Ingram II has surpassed 1,000 rushing yards for the 2017 season. The veteran back from Alabama achieved the feat during the first half of Sunday's game vs. the New York Jets in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
This is the second consecutive year that Ingram has surpassed 1,000 yards rushing. In 2016, Ingram played in 16 games and had 1,043 yards rushing. The former Heisman Trophy winner has more than 5,000 yards rushing in his career.
