New Orleans Saints receiver Michael Thomas broke his own franchise record for receiving yards in a season when he hauled in a 21-yard touchdown pass from Drew Brees in the fourth quarter Sunday, Dec. 8 against the San Francisco 49ers in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. Thomas entered the game with 1,290 yards and the touchdown reception gave him 1,407, two more than he had in 2018. He finished with 134 yards, giving him 1,424 this season.
The reception was Thomas' ninth of the game. He finished with 11, to give him 121 for the season, the most any player has had through 13 games in NFL history.
