The New Orleans Saints and Pelicans Production team has been nominated for eight Suncoast Regional Emmy Awards.
The production team won three of the four Emmy awards they were nominated for in 2023 and will look to add to their collection in 2024. With these eight nominations, the Saints and Pelicans have accrued 17 nominations since 2019.
"It has been an honor and privilege to lead this group of talented creatives and conceive and execute campaigns that get recognized by our peers," said Vice President of Production Shaneika Dabney-Henderson. "I know that we will continue to push ourselves, take risks and do all we can to build and support the brands of our teams."
The Saints Hype Videos were nominated for best commercial campaign.
The Tyrann Mathieu: Man of the Year video was nominated for best short form content sports story.
The Pelicans series “The Squad” was nominated as the best post produced or edited sports program series.
Dabney-Henderson was nominated for the best writer of a spot announcement for the Saints 2024 Season Campaign promo videos.
Senior Content Manager Jonathon Lavengetto was nominated for best sports editor and best sports photographer.
Senior Content Manager Jonathan Mahody was nominated for best short form content editor and best short form content photographer.
The Suncoast chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences awards Emmys to a wide swath of the Gulf Coast region including the entire state of Florida, Alexandria, Baton Rouge, Lafayette, Lake Charles and New Orleans, La., Mobile, Ala., Thomasville, Ga., and Puerto Rico.
The 2024 Suncoast Emmy Awards gala where the winners will be announces will be held on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2024 at the Hyatt Regency in Orlando.
