New Orleans Saints, Pelicans production team wins six Emmy Awards

2024 Suncoast Regional Emmy Awards voted on by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences

The New Orleans Saints and Pelicans production team won six Suncoast Regional Emmy Awards voted on by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS). Below are the categories and names of the winners:

TEAM AWARDS:

  • Sports Series: The Squad (Pelicans)
  • Commercial – Campaign: New Orleans Saints Hype Videos

CRAFT AWARDS:

  • Writer - Sport Announcement: Shaneika Dabney-Henderson (Saints 2024 Season Campaign Promos)
  • Sports Editor: Jon Lavengetto
  • Short Form Editor: Jonathan Mahody
  • Short Form Photographer: Jonathan Mahody

Following a successful 2023, where the production team won three of the four Emmy awards they were nominated for, the team expanded upon their accolades in 2024. The Saints and Pelicans have accumulated a remarkable total of 17 nominations since 2019.

"Their creativity and dedication have resulted in content that resonates deeply with our fans and earned well-deserved recognition."

About the Suncoast Regional Emmy Award
The Suncoast Chapter of The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences is a professional service organization dedicated to the advancement of the arts and sciences of television and related media and to the promotion of creative leadership for artistic, educational, and technical achievements within the television industry. In order to receive a nomination, an entry must reach a threshold percentage of high scores. Entries with scores below that threshold do not receive a nomination.
