The New Orleans Saints (5-10) will return home to the Caesars Superdome and look to bounce back after a disappointing performance in Green Bay and reverse a two-game losing streak, playing an intraconference foe in the Las Vegas Raiders (3-12). Kickoff is scheduled for noon CT on Sunday, December 29. The contest will be nationally televised on FOX (broadcast locally on WVUE FOX 8).
Sunday's contest represents the home finale for the 2024 season for the Saints, who will look to finish the five games of their Caesars Superdome slate since Darren Rizzi was elevated to interim head coach to 3-2.
New Orleans is coming off of a 34-0 loss on Monday Night Football to the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field. The game was the fourth start of the season for rookie quarterback Spencer Rattler, a fifth round draft pick for the club out of South Carolina and the first time he opened a contest since October 27.
With the Saints missing multiple skill position players on offense, including Kamara and faced with the departure of center Erik McCoy in the second quarter, Rattler completed 15 passes to seven different teammates on offense for 153 yards and also carried the ball five times for 28 yards.
The Raiders improved to 3-12 and broke a ten-game losing streak, when they defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, 19-14.
