New Orleans Saints Executive Vice President/General Manager Mickey Loomis announced Monday that the club has signed the following undrafted free agents to three-year contracts; DT Kenny Bigelow Jr., RB Devine Ozigbo, TE Jake Powell and CB Jordan Wyatt.
Kenny Bigelow Jr. – Defensive Tackle, West Virginia (6-4, 307): The Wilmington, Del. native started his career at USC appearing in 19 games posting three sacks over a five-year tenure (2013-17), missing the 2014 and 2016 seasons due to injury. After receiving a sixth year of eligibility from the NCAA he transferred to West Virginia, where he started all 12 games for the Mountaineers, finishing with 20 tackles, (15 solo), two sacks, 4.5 tackles for loss and a forced fumble and was named All-Big 12 Second Team (DL) and All-Big 12 Honorable Mention (Defensive Newcomer of the Year).
Devine Ozigbo – Running Back, Nebraska (6-0, 225): Ozigbo was a three-year starter for Nebraska, playing in 41 games with 20 starts. The Sachse, TX. native finished his career with 419 carries for 2,196 yards (5.2 avg.) and 21 touchdowns while also adding 49 receptions for 488 yards (10.0 avg.). In 2018, appeared in 12 games and was Nebraska's leading rusher with 155 carries for 1,082 yards (7.0 avg.) and 12 rushing touchdowns, earning third-team All-Big Ten. As a junior, he appeared in 10 games and was Nebraska's leading rusher with 129 carries for 493 yards (3.8 avg.) and three touchdowns.
Jake Powell – Tight End, Monmouth (6-6, 230): Powell was a three-year starter at tight end for Monmouth. The Marlton, N.J. native appeared in 26 games with 20 starts, posting 54 receptions for 642 yards and six touchdowns. As a junior, he was a First Team All-Big South and Second Team All-ECAC selection and finished first in the Big South among tight ends in every category, recording 23 receptions for 330 yards and three touchdowns. As a senior, he was first-team All-Conference, despite playing in only five games, making 15 grabs for 165 yards and two touchdowns.
Jordan Wyatt – Cornerback, Southern Methodist (6-0, 195): Wyatt was a four-year starter in the secondary at SMU. The Wylie, TX. native appeared in 44 games with 41 starts, finishing his career with 146 tackles (116 solo), 32 passes defensed, 11 interceptions, eight forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, and one sack. He is SMU's all-time leader with 289 interception return yards. As a senior, he started all 10 games he appeared in, registering 16 tackles (13 solo), one interception and four breakups. In 2017, he started all 11 games he appeared in, registering 49 tackles (40 solo), 10 passes defensed, four interceptions, three forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and one sack.
