Saints spirit will dominate downtown New Orleans this Friday, January 11, as the New Orleans Saints and Hancock Whitney kick off Black and Gold Friday at noon on the second-floor plaza level of Hancock Whitney's new New Orleans regional headquarters, the Hancock Whitney Center (formerly One Shell Square).
The celebration will spotlight the Saints' winning season and cheer New Orleans' team toward victory against defending Super Bowl champion the Philadelphia Eagles at the NFC Division playoff game Sunday, January 13—just down the street at the Saints' Mercedes-Benz Superdome home.
The Saintsations, team mascot Sir Saint, and former Saints safety Roman Harper will make special appearances during Friday's Black and Gold party, which includes free News Orleans style food; a DJ and dancing; balloons, face-painting, and games; and a social media photo booth. A grand-prize giveaway includes two pairs of tickets and sideline passes for Sunday's game.
Hancock Whitney and the New Orleans Saints host Black and Gold Fridays at selected locations during the football season as part of both organizations' longstanding community commitment. The events also tie to Hancock Whitney's sponsorship as the official bank of the New Orleans Saints and Pelicans and the exclusive provider of the New Orleans Saints branded debit card.
