Saints win over Colts delivers 58.0 rating in New Orleans for 'Monday Night Football'

Quarterback Drew Brees set NFL records in rout of Colts

New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees celebrates setting the NFL record for touchdown passes with 540, surpassing Peyton Manning.

Most New Orleans Saints fans got to watch Drew Brees' record-setting performance on "Monday Night Football" as it delivered a combined rating of 58,0 in New Orleans. ESPN earned a 16.0 and the simulcast on WDSU-6 garnered a 42.0.

Brees set the NFL record for career touchdown passes (541) and single-game completion percentage (96.7) in the 34-7 rout of the Indianapolis Colts. It was the second consecutive year Brees set a major NFL record on "Monday Night Football." In 2018 he set the league's all-time passing yardage mark in a win over the Washington Redskins.

The Saints (11-3) play at the Tennessee Titans (8-6) on Sunday as they continue to fight for a top two NFC seed and a first-round bye. Fox will have the broadcast.
