SAINTS OFFENSIVE TACKLES 2024 SEASON ANALYSIS:
Rookie left tackle Taliese Fuaga and third-year right tackle Trevor Penning both started all 17 games for the New Orleans Saints in 2024. Fuaga moved to left tackle after playing right tackle in college at Oregon State, and Penning moved to right tackle after playing sparingly at left tackle during his first two NFL seasons. Fuaga became the Saints' first rookie starter at left tackle since Ryan Ramczyk in 2017.
BEST GAME OF SAINTS OFFENSIVE TACKLES' 2024 SEASON:
The tackles, and offensive line, had stellar games against two of the NFL's elite pass rushers. In a 44-19 road victory over Dallas on Sept. 15, Cowboys outside linebacker Micah Parsons was held to three tackles, with no sacks, quarterback hits or tackles for loss. And in a 35-14 home victory over Cleveland on Nov. 17, Browns defensive end Myles Garrett did not record a statistic – no sacks, tackles, quarterback hits, tackles for loss, passes defensed.
