Tennessee Titans announce that QB Marcus Mariota will start Sunday

Titans interim head coach Mike Mularkey announced Friday that rookie QB Marcus Mariota will get the start Sunday against the New Orleans Saints at the Mercedes Benz Superdome.

Mariota has missed the last two games with a knee injury. LSU alum Zach Mettenberger has started in his place.

In five starts this season, Mariota has completed 103 of 161 passes (64.0%) for 1,239 yards, nine touchdowns and five interceptions for a 93.2 quarterback rating.

The Saints-Titans contest will kickoff at Noon CT on CBS.
