The New Orleans Saints will host the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 17 on December 29, 2024 at noon on FOX. This will be the first matchup between Derek Carr and his former squad. Carr was a second round draft pick of the Raiders in 2014 and played for them from 2014-22, where he played in and started 142 games and completed 3,201-of-4,958 passes for 35,222 yards (64.6 percent), with 217 touchdown passes and 99 interceptions. Carr holds Raiders franchise records in attempts, completions, passing yards, touchdown passes, multiple-touchdown contests (69), contests with a passer rating of at least 100.0 (47) and 300-yard passing performances (33). Safety Johnathan Abram and tight end Foster Moreau are also former Raiders draft picks while Dennis Allen also served as head coach of the Raiders from 2012-14.
