Outside linebacker Victor Butler was one of the New Orleans Saints' top offseason acquisitions in the spring of 2013 but a knee injury prevented him for playing a snap for the team last season.
He's back and ready to play a key role in defensive coordinator Rob Ryan's system.
Outside linebacker Parys Haralson was obtained in trade with the San Francisco 49ers toward the end of the 2013 preseason and was a key contributor for the Saints, appearing in 16 games with eight starts and recording 35 tackles (16 solo), 3.5 sacks and one pass defense. He suffered a chest injury in the Saints' wild-card playoff win over the Eagles and will be working his way back from that during training camp.
They will be joined at linebacker by Curtis Lofton, David Hawthorne, Kevin Reddick, Ramon Humbler, Keyunta Dawson and a host of younger players.
