Training camp is the best time for New Orleans Saints fans to see Coach Sean Payton's impact on their team.
Payton, the most successful coach in franchise history, was recently named the fourth-best in-game coach by NFL.com. But almost everyone gets to see Coach Payton work the sideline, either on TV or at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. But only those fans who attend Saints training camp presented by Verizon practices at The Greenbrier or the team's Metairie facilities can see his teaching and leadership skills up close and in person.
If you're lucky enough to attend one of the team's practices take your eyes off of Drew Brees and Cam Jordan long enough to watch Coach Payton explain to a receiver exactly how he wants a route run, joke with Mark Ingram during the team stretch, exhort the players during conditioning work, or compete in one of the quarterback challenges. You won't regret it.
