5 things to know about the 2015 NFL Draft

The NFL Draft begins Thursday

The 80th NFL Draft will be held April 30-May 2, 2015 at the Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University in Chicago.

Below are five things to know about the 2015 NFL Draft.

1. Schedule:

The Draft will return to primetime for Rounds 1-3.

Round 1

Thursday, April 30 (7 pm CT)

10-minutes selection time

Round 2-3

Friday, May 1  (7 pm CT)

Round 2 selection time: 7 minutes

Round 3* selection time: 5 minutes

Round 4-6*

Saturday, May 2 (11 am CT)

5 minute selection time

Round 7*

4 minute selection time

*All compensatory selections in rounds 3-7 will be 4 minutes each

 2. How to watch and listen

Television:

The 2015 NFL Draft will be televised nationally by NFL Network and ESPN

 Radio:

 The NFL Draft can be heard nationwide on SiriusXM NFL Radio.

 Online and on your phone:

NewOrleansSaints.com will be hosting a live show on the site and the team's app all three days of the NFL Draft. The show will be hosted by Sean Kelley and John DeShazier and will include Draft analysis, interviews with the Saints coaching staff and Draft picks shortly after they are selected.

The team’s app, presented by Verizon, will also provide a live Draft tracker, an easy tool for Saints fans to stay updated throughout the Draft.

3. The Saints' picks:

The New Orleans Saints currently own nine picks in the 2015 NFL Draft.

First round:

 13th

 31st (from Seattle)

Second round:

44th overall

Third round:

75th overall

78th (from Miami)

Fifth round:

148th

Fifth round:

154 (from Kansas City)

5. 2015 Draft Super Boil for Saints Season Ticket Holders

The New Orleans Saints and Mercedes-Benz have teamed up to host 2015 Draft Super Boil for Saints Season Ticket Holders on Saturday, May 2, 2015 from Noon-4 p.m. at the Saints Practice Facility (5800 Airline Drive, Metairie).

All proceeds for the 2015 Draft Boil will be donated to the Wounded Warrior Project and the Johnny Mac Soldiers Fund.

Tickets are $20/adult and $15/youth (13 & under). Admission includes five pounds of crawfish per each adult ticket (three pounds for youth tickets), Zatarain's Jambalaya, Lucky Dogs, corn, potatoes, and sno-balls. Additionally, complementary Coca-cola soft drinks, water and beer will be served. Tickets must be purchased by Thursday, April 30. For more info and ticket availability click here.
