The New Orleans Saints had an extensive presence today at the Ochnser Medical Center pediatric and chemotherapy units in New Orleans as three members of the team visited to help lift the spirits of patients.
P Thomas Morstead, K Garrett Hartley and DE Jeff Charleston visited the children in the pediatric unit and those in the process of fighting and recovering from cancer as they received their treatments. While their visit lasted 60 minutes, the number of smiles from both doctors, employees and patients alike was much larger than that.
Two of the club's specialists along with a key member of the defensive line's rotation took part in the visit prior to their getting back to business and returning to the practice field tommorrow as they prepare for Monday night's contest at the San Francisco 49ers.
