The Cam Jordan Foundation Legacy Scholarship Program is set to make a lasting impact on Louisiana's youth by awarding four exceptional high school seniors with full tuition coverage for four years at an in-state college or university this year. This visionary initiative not only removes financial barriers to higher education but also equips recipients with career exposure, mentorship, and professional development resources to help them thrive beyond the classroom. The Cam Jordan Legacy Scholarship Program is being supported in part by Raising Cane's, Google Pathfinder Beyond Sports, Microsoft, and Entergy.
"Through this program, we aim to empower future leaders each year who will make a meaningful difference in their communities and beyond," said Jordan. "Investing in our youth is investing in the future of Louisiana. I am also so grateful that we have several incredible partners who have come on board to help me in this endeavor."
Microsoft is excited to support the Cam Jordan Foundation Legacy Scholarship Program by offering career readiness workshops. These workshops will equip young people with the skills and networks needed to succeed in the AI economy.
"On behalf of Raising Cane's, I'm honored to support my good friend Cam and this great initiative to set local students up for success," said Raising Cane's Owner and Founder Todd Graves. "Cam has a heart for giving back and is a great role model for all students. I'm looking forward to seeing the many lives impacted by Cam's generosity and the exceptional legacy he's building with this program."
Google Pathfinder Beyond Sports is thrilled to partner with the Cam Jordan Foundation Legacy Scholarship Program to provide students with the career support and educational resources they need to build upon their success.
"Entergy is honored to support the Cam Jordan Legacy Scholarship Program with our donation," said Marcus Brown, Entergy executive vice president and general counsel. "This initiative represents a commitment to expanding access to higher education for Louisiana's youth, particularly those from underserved communities. By investing in these promising students, we are not only helping to alleviate financial burdens, but also fostering a generation of future leaders equipped with the skills and resources they need to thrive. Together with our partners, we are committed to empowering young minds to create positive change in our communities and beyond."
