New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees and running back Alvin Kamara have been selected for Week 11 awards after their performances against the Washington Redskins.
Brees has been selected as the Castrol Edge Clutch Performer of the Week. The award is given to the best performer or performance of the week that represents strength in key moments.
During the Week 11 game against the Redskins Brees recorded his 37th career fourth quarter/overtime game-winning drive. In the Saints final two series' of regulation, Brees helped the Saints offense produce 15 points by completing 11-of-11 passes for 164 yards with both of his touchdown throws.
Kamara has been selected as the Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week for Week 11, making this the third consecutive week that he has won the award.
Kamara has now won the award in Week 4, Week 9, Week 10, and Week 11.
During the Week 11 game against the Redskins, Kamara had eight carries for 42 yards. He also reeled in six catches for 74 yards and a touchdown. Kamara rushed for his first career two-point conversion and the first by the Saints in 2017 to tie the score.
