Drew Brees has been nominated for the FedEx Air Player of the Week, the NFL announced Tuesday.
Brees completed 29 of 36 pass attempts for 375 yards, three touchdowns, zero interceptions and a 137.8 rating in the Saints' 31-15 win over the Chicago Bears Monday night.

Brees surpassed the 300-yard mark for the 85th time in his career, the 79th time as a Saint. It was his 46th game with at least 300-yards and three touchdowns.
The Saints QB has now won 58 times when passing for more than 300 yards, ranked second behind Peyton Manning (59).
Monday was Brees' 70th game as a Saint with a passer rating over 100.0. New Orleans is 58-12 in those contests.
With a screen pass to RB Pierre Thomas in the first half, Brees (4,358) surpassed the 4,000-yard mark for the ninth straight season, an NFL record.
Brees (31) surpassed the 30-touchdown plateau for the seventh consecutive season, an NFL record, with three scoring throws.
At one point in the first half, Brees completed 14 consecutive passes.
