New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees came in at No. 2 on the NFL Network's list of the Top 100 players.
The Network revealed the top 10 players on the list Wednesday night.
In 2018, Brees ranked first in overall passer rating, first in fourth quarter passer rating, led the NFL with seven fourth quarter/overtime game-winning drives, and ranked second in interception percentage. He also became the only player in NFL history to have 350 passing yards, three touchdowns, two rushing TDs with zero interceptions in a game against arch-rival Atlanta. But Brees' greatest accomplishment of the 2018 campaign came in Week 5 when he broke Peyton Manning's all-time passing record of 71,940 yards during the second quarter of the Saints' 43-19 victory over the Washington Redskins on "Monday Night Football."
Brees was selected NFC Offensive Player of the Month (November), Second-team Associated Press, Pro Football Focus All-Pro, and notched a club-record 11th Pro Bowl as a Saint, his 12th overall.
Brees joins teammates Michael Thomas (No. 13), Alvin Kamara (No. 14) and Cameron Jordan (No. 41) on the NFL Network's Top 100 list this year.
