Drew Brees nominated for the FedEx Air NFL Player of the Week

Drew Brees threw three touchdowns and ran for one against the Cardinals on Sunday

New Orleans Saints QB Drew Brees has been nominated for the FedEx Air NFL Player of the Week after his strong performance against the Arizona Cardinals in the team's 31-7 win last Sunday.

Brees completed 29 passes for 342 yards and three touchdowns and ran for 21 yards and a touchdown against Arizona.

Along with Brees, Denver Broncos' Peyton Manning and Detroit Lions' Matthew Stafford are up for the weekly honor.

The winner will be announced on Friday.
