Drew Brees up for FedEx Air Player of the Week for Bills performance

Drew Brees threw five touchdowns last Sunday

New Orleans Saints QB Drew Brees has been nominated for the FedEx Air NFL Player of the Week for the fifth time this season, the league announced Tuesday.

Brees won the weekly honor for his week four performance against the Miami Dolphins.

The Saints quarterback threw for 332 yards and five touchdowns in the team's 35-17 win over the Buffalo Bills on Sunday.

Along with Brees, Cincinnati Bengals QB Andy Dalton and Detroit Lions QB Matthew Stafford are up for the award.

The winner will be announced on Friday.
