First quarter update: The St. Louis Rams were able to turn a Luke McCown interception into seven points when quarterback Shaun Hill hit Cory Harkey for a 16-yard touchdown pass. The New Orleans Saints answered with a 37-yard field goal from Shayne Graham.
McCown got the start for the Saints as Drew Brees sat out with a strained oblique. Ryan Griffin came on for the last possession of the quarter.
