The intersection of Girod Street and Loyola Avenue will be closed prior to and at the conclusion of the Saints game this Sunday. Fans are advised to arrive early if they utilize this entrance area to the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) will provide fans, utilizing this intersection, direction into the stadium and surrounding parking lots. Please note that only the intersection is closed, not Girod Street from Loyola Avenue accessing the back of the stadium. NOPD will direct vehicles approaching the intersection of Girod Street and Loyola Avenue to a U-Turn lane where those vehicles can then access Girod Street.
