Mark Ingram selected as NFC Offensive Player of the Week

Mark Ingram's season-high 134 yards earned him Offensive Player of the Week honors

The NFL has selected New Orleans Saints running back Mark Ingram II as the NFC's Offensive Player of the Week after his performance against the Washington Redskins. Ingram was named NFC Offensive Player of the Week previously in last November.

Ingram led the Saints in rushing in the team's 34-31 thrilling overtime victory over Washington with 11 carries for a season-high 134 yards with one touchdown. Ingram recorded the longest run of the day with a 36-yard touchdown run. Ingram also surpassed 5,000 career rushing yards becoming only the second Saint to do so. Ingram's two runs in overtime set up Wil Lutz's game-winning field goal.
