Cornerback Justin Hardee saw 273 snaps for the New Orleans Saints special teams unit this season, and 77 for the defense. Hardee was often the first to the ball on punt coverage and showed that he can get down the field and make a play. He had his first career interception which he ran back for 77 yards, a career-high two pass deflections, and a career-high 19 tackles.
BEST GAME: Hardee's best game came against the Washington Redskins in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. He was put in the game at defensive back and picked off Redskins quarterback Alex Smith, and returned the ball for 77 yards. Hardee also had a career-high two pass deflections while adding a spark for the defense.
