New Orleans Saints announce two transactions

The New Orleans Saints signed an offensive tackle and defensive tackle on Wednesday

The New Orleans Saints announced today that they have signed tackle Manase Foketi and defensive tackle Moses McCray. The announcement was made by Saints' Executive Vice President/General Manager Mickey Loomis.

Foketi, 6-foot-5, 310 pounds, originally signed with the Denver Broncos as an undrafted free agent in 2013, where he appeared in one preseason game. After starting his career at Mount St. Antonio Junior College, he transferred to Kansas State where he started all 13 games at left tackle in 2010. After graduating in 2012, the Hesperia, Calif. native transferred and used his final season of eligibility at West Texas A&M, where he started all 15 games for the Buffs, blocking for current Saints running back Khiry Robinson. Foketi was one of three finalists for the Gene Upshaw Division II Lineman of the Year.

McCray, 6-foot-2, 318 pounds, played three seasons at Florida State and upon graduating used his final season of eligibility at Akron in 2013, where he appeared in all 12 games and posted 24 tackles, two tackles for a loss and one pass defensed. Overall, with both the Seminoles and Zips, the Tampa, Fla. native appeared in 36 games and posted career totals of 48 tackles and four stops for a loss.
