New Orleans Saints at Tampa Bay Buccaneers halftime update: Saints 10, Bucs 7

No scoring in period

New Orleans Saints at Tampa Bay Buccaneers second quarter update: The New Orleans Saints were stopped four times inside the Tampa Bay 5-yard line and lead just 10-7 Sunday at Raymond James Stadium.

Tight end Jimmy Graham has been quarterback Drew Brees' favorite target, catching eight passes for 156 yards and a touchdown. He almost added a second one in the quarter but was ruled down at the 1-yard line following a 30-yard reception. But the Saints couldn't cash in as Mark Ingram was stopped on fourth-and-1 after the Saints decided to try for it following an offsides call on Tampa Bay after a Garrett Hartley 20-yard field goal. Coach Sean Payton took the points off the board and went for it with a run to Ingram around the left side where he was stood up just short of the goal line.

Graham made that play after taking a blow to the head from a Buccaneers defender, drawing the third personal foul penalty on Tampa in the half. Tampa was penalized seven times for 61 yards in the half. Graham has already surpassed his career high for receiving yards in a game.

Hartley missed a 43-yard field-goal attempt early in the quarter.
