With a win today, New Orleans would improve its record to 2-0 for the first time since the 2010 season, for the eighth time in franchise history and for the fourth time during Sean Payton's tenure as head coach (2006, 2009, 2010).
· A win would extend New Orleans' lead in the series against the Buccaneers to 26-17. It would also give them a 12-7 record at Tampa Bay. A win for Payton would improve his record against Tampa Bay to 7-6 and give him a winning mark against 19 NFL teams.
· A win would give New Orleans a win in its first road contest of the season since a 25-22 victory at San Francisco on Sept. 20, 2010.
· QB Drew Brees has 100 career days with at least two touchdown passes, ranked sixth in club record books. If he throws for two touchdowns today, he would move into a tie with Fran Tarkenton for fifth all-time
· WR Marques Colston has 7,462 career receiving yards. With 38 receiving yards today, he would join Eric Martin (7,854) and Joe Horn (7,622) as only the third Saint with 7,500 career receiving yards.
· With 59 career touchdown receptions, all from Brees, if the two connect in the end zone today, they would become only the seventh quarterback-wide receiver combo to connect for 60 touchdowns.
· Colston will appear in his 104th game today, tying him for 41st with DE/LB Renaldo Turnbull for 39th on the club's all-time list for games played.
· TE Jimmy Graham has 2,693 career receiving yards. With 109 career receiving yards, he would surpass WR Wes Chandler and move into the top 10 on the club's all-time list.
· Graham's 26 career receiving touchdowns rank second in club record books for a tight end. With his next touchdown, Graham will move into a tie with Henry Childs for first on that list.
· S Roman Harper will appear in the 101st game of his career today, moving him to a tie with TE Larry Hardy and CB Toi Cook for 44th on the club's all-time list..
· With one solo tackle today, Harper will reach 500 for his career.
· K Garrett Hartley has 326 career points to rank sixth on the club's all-time list. With four more points, Hartley would move into a tie with RB Deuce McAllister for fifth all-time.
· WR Lance Moore has 37 career touchdowns to tie for sixth on the club's all-time list with WR Danny Abramowicz. With one more touchdown, he would take over sole possession of sixth.
· Moore's 36 receiving touchdowns rank fifth in club record books. With one more, he would move into a tie for fourth with Abramowicz.
· RB Pierre Thomas has 3,017 career rushing yards, ranked seventh on the club's all-time list. With 113 rushing yards, he would surpass Ricky Williams for sixth place on the club's rushing list.
· Thomas' 33 career touchdowns are tied for eighth in club record books with Tony Galbreath and Reggie Bush. With one more, he would take sole possession of eighth.
