*New Orleans will be looking for another 4-0 start next Monday night versus the Miami Dolphins to join the 1991 (7-0), 1993 (5-0) and 2009 (13-0) clubs.
*The Saints gained 423 net yards, their highest total of the season. The Saints also converted seven-of-13 third down attempts (53.8 percent). The Saints ran for a season-high 104 yards.
*QB Drew Brees completed 29 of 46 passes for 342 yards, three touchdowns, one interception, posting a 98.3 passer rating. He also rushed six times for 21 yards and another TD.
*Sunday's game marked the eighth consecutive contest where Brees has thrown for 300 yards, the second-longest streak in NFL record books. If Brees throws for 300 yards next Monday, he would tie the record he already holds spanning between the 2011 and 2012 seasons.
*Brees' multiple-touchdown pass game was the 101st of his career, tying him with Fran Tarkenton for fifth all-time in NFL record books. Brees trails Brett Favre (159), Peyton Manning (137), Dan Marino (127) and Tom Brady (109, including Sunday).
*Brees completed at least 20 passes for the 55th consecutive game, extending his own NFL record, and topped the 200-yard passing mark for the 35th straight game.
*He passed for 300 or more yards for the 70th time in his career; only Peyton Manning (74 going into Monday night game vs. Oakland) has more 300-yard games in NFL history.
*Brees is now 60 yards away from becoming the seventh player in NFL history to reach 47,000 career passing yards.
*TE Jimmy Grahamled the Saints in receiving with nine catches for 134 yards with two touchdowns. The touchdown grabs were the 28th and 29th of Graham's career, ranking sixth in club history and first among tight ends. Dating to the 2012 season finale, it is also the fourth consecutive game Graham has recorded a touchdown reception. Graham has recorded 100 yards receiving in back-to-back weeks.
*WR Marques Colstonhad five catches for 71 yards as he played in his 105th career game, moving him into a tie with former Saints defensive lineman Willie Whitehead for 38th on the club's all-time list.
*In his most extensive action of the season yet, WR Robert Meachemtied the score with a first quarter 27-yard touchdown reception. It was the 24th touchdown reception of Meachem's career as a Saint, helping him surpass another former Saint and University of Tennessee standout, WR Donte' Stallworthfor ninth place on the club's all-time list.
*RB Darren Sproles had 109 all-purpose yards, including a season-long 28-yard punt return, as part of three returns for 53 yards. Sproles also had 17 yards rushing on three carries and four receptions for 39 yards.
*RB Khiry Robinsonmade his NFL debut and led the Saints in rushing with four carries for 38 yards.
!*G Tim Lelitomade his first career NFL start, getting the nod at right guard in place of an injured Jahri Evans. It ended a 114 game streak of consecutive regular season starts (122 overall) for Evans, which was the longest active games started streak among NFL guards and tied for third overall. Also, it was the longest streak to start a career by a Saint and the second-longest games-started streak overall in club record books.
*In surrendering only seven points, the Saints have allowed only 38 points through the first three games of the season. Only the 1992 team, which allowed 28 points in the first three games, has gotten off to a better start in franchise history.
*The Saints have held each of their first three opponents below 20 points, the first time a Saints defense has done so in three consecutive games since October 31-November 21, 2010.
*Starting the 50th game of his career, S Malcolm Jenkinsposted three tackles (two solo).
