Pierre Thomas: 2013 season in review

Pierre Thomas led NFL running backs in receptions in 2013 with 77

In 2013, Thomas was extremely durable as he has split the lead back duties with Darren Sproles, appearing in all 16 regular season games with nine starts and led the club in rushing with 549 yards and two touchdowns and ranked second on the club in receiving with a career-high 77 receptions for 513 yards with three touchdowns.

Thomas' reception total ranked first in the NFL among running backs in 2013. He was also named the Franchise's "Man of the Year" for the numerous charitable endeavors he participates in and was the club's 2013 nominee for the NFL Walter Payton Man of the Year Award.

Best Game: Rushed 19 times for 36 yards and a touchdown and hauled in nine receptions for 55 yards in a score in the New Orleans Saints' Week 5 26-18 win against the Chicago Bears.
