New Orleans Saints announce roster moves 

The club has signed cornerback T.J. Green, defensive tackle Ziggy Hood and linebacker Josh Martin.

New Orleans Saints Executive Vice President/General Manager Mickey Loomis announced Wednesday that the club has signed cornerback T.J. Green, defensive tackle Ziggy Hood and linebacker Josh Martin. The club also waived/injured defensive tackle Kenny Bigelow Jr. and waived wide receiver Chad Hansen.

Green, 6-3, 211, is a two-year NFL veteran who was originally selected by the Indianapolis Colts in the second round (57th overall) of the 2016 NFL Draft out of Clemson. He has played in 31 career games with 11 starts, recording 86 tackles, three passes defensed and three special teams stops

Hood, 6-3, 305 was originally a first round draft pick (32nd overall) by the Pittsburgh Steelers out of Missouri in 2009. The ten-year NFL veteran has appeared in 114 career regular season games for the Steelers, Jacksonville Jaguars, Chicago Bears, Washington Redskins and Miami Dolphins with 73 starts, posting career totals of 231 tackles (141 solo), 14 sacks forĀ loss of 66 yards, 11 passes defensed, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery. The Amarillo, Texas native has also played in four postseason contests for Pittsburgh with one start, posting 14 stops (12 solo) and two quarterback takedowns.

Martin, 6-3, 245, originally was signed by the Kansas City as an undrafted free agent in 2013 out of Columbia. The Aurora, Col. Native has played in 51 career games with ten starts for the Chiefs (2013-14), Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2015) and Jets (2015-18), recording 62 tackles (33 solo), 2.5 sacks, two passes defensed, one forced fumble, 42 special teams stops and one coverage fumble recovery.
