New Orleans Saints fans voted the team's game against the Green Bay Packers as the 2014 primetime contest they're most excited about, in a NewOrleanSaints.com poll last week.
The Packers game received 42 percent of the 1,583 votes. Along with the battle against the Packers, the
Sept. 28 contest at the Dallas Cowboys on "Sunday Night Football" (26%) and the
Oct. 30 game at the Carolina Panthers on "Thursday Night Football" (16%) rounded out the top three in the poll.
The Saints will face the Packers on NBC's "Sunday Night Football" on Oct. 26 at 7:30 pm CT.
New Orleans will look for its first win against Green Bay since the 2008 season, which was the last Mercedes-Benz Superdome matchup, a 51-29 win, which also occurred in prime time. Green Bay owns a 16-7 advantage in the series with wins in the last two contests.
