The New Orleans Saints hosted their Second Annual Hall of Fame Reception/Auction Sunday night at the team's facility in Metairie.
Participants started with a dinner in the team cafeteria that was catered by Pigeon's Caterers, along with wine from Impastato's Restaurant and beer from Southern Eagle/Budweiser.
The event featured an elaborate auction of 20 outstanding items, including Saints memorabilia.
Fans had the opportunity to tour parts of the Saints Facility, including the team's locker room, training room, weight room and indoor practice facility.
The Lombardi Trophy from Super Bowl XLIV was on hand for fans to take pictures with.
Executive Vice President/General Manager Mickey Loomis atteded the event. Loomis posed for photos, and signed autographs for fans.
"We really liked the event," said Larry Saint-Germain, a native of Cut Off, La. "We have toured the Superdome before I have always wanted to tour the facility. We have been here for training camp and got to see the practice field. I have always been intrigured by the building and wanted to know what was inside."
The 21st Annual Saints Hall of Fame Celebrity Golf Classic is set for Monday morning at Chateau Golf and Country Club.
