Saints RB Hamilton injures right knee in practice

Saints-Running Backs

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) -New Orleans Saints running back Lynell Hamilton left practice this morning after injuring his right knee.

Coach Sean Payton said Wednesday that Hamilton was hurt while planting his foot. The third-string running back was scheduled for X-rays.

The good news for the Saints is that Reggie Bush was back at practice after missing most of the team drills Tuesday. Bush said he became dehydrated and started cramping up in his legs.

The Saints are practicing with the New England Patriots this week in preparation for their matchup in Foxborough, Mass., on Thursday night.
