The New Orleans Saints have re-signed restricted free agent offensive tackle Jermon Bushrod, Executive Vice President/General Manager Mickey Loomis announced Tuesday.
Bushrodwas drafted by the Saints in the fourth round in 2007 (125th overall) and made the first 14 starts of his NFL career in 2009, stepping in at left tackle after Jammal Brown was lost for the season during training camp. The 6-5, 315-pound Towson University product also started all three postseason contests for the league's top-ranked offense. Bushrod, 25, has played in 18 career regular season games.
