Saints take 14-6 halftime lead over Steelers

Teams are playing at Heinz Field

Pittsburgh - The New Orleans Saints grabbed a 14-6 halftime lead over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday at Heinz Field.

Quarterback Drew Brees threw two second-quarter touchdown passes, a 15-yarder to tight end Benjamin Watson and a 4-yarder to fullback Erik Lorig. Brees was 10 of 16 for 114 yards and the two TDs in the half.

Mark Ingram leads the Saints in rushing with 73 yards on 11 carries while Pierre Thomas chipped in 14 yards on two carries.

The Saints' second touchdown drive was started when safety Kenny Vaccaro picked off Pittsburgh QB Ben Roethlisberger in the end zone. Roethlisberger was 8 of 22 for 115 yards in the half.

Running back Le'Veon Bell led the Steelers offense with 82 yards on 15 carries. Kicker Shaun Suisham made field goals from 49 and 31 yards for Pittsburgh.
